Bako Bums

Brendt joined the precursor to the MSB in 2007, inheriting a 69 win team and immediately turning it into a 100 win World Series champion in his first year in the league. Two seasons later, the Spits won the 2009 World Series, becoming the leagues first two time league champions.  After relinquishing the team following the 2012 season due to time constraints, Brendt returned to the league with the expansion Bako Bums in 2018.
Building the Bums from the ground up, a focus on young, controllable talent, a strong minor league system and a willingness to consider any trade proposal, led the franchises rise.  Now built for contention, Brendt looks to become the first GM to take two separate franchises to World Series championships.
Personally, I have been married to my beautiful wife for 20+ years and we have an adult daughter and a college age son.  I am a Physical Education and Health teacher and after 25 years of loving working with Jr. High kids, I am now nearing retirement.  Traveling the U.S. in our 29′ Class A motorhome stands in our future, along with serving wherever God puts us.  Baseball and the Dodgers have been lifelong passions, which led to fantasy baseball about 30 years ago and eventually to DMB in the early 2000’s.  Joining an existing league with a brand new expansion team and building from nothing has been a new and exciting experience and with the build now complete, I will be giving you guys a run for your money every season and looking to add to my current six titles across two leagues.
