Onto Round 6! Due to the All-Star Break (which Rod will run, including votes from us for some of the players - I think!), there are 16 games in Round 6. Normally there are 13. So keep that in mind for some of these questions.

1) I'm sorry to pick on the Kraken's rebuilding year, but our buddy Dan's boys are now the only team yet to win a game when trailing after the 7th inning (0-44). Question: Will Brooklyn finally get a win in that category?

2) Seven out of 20 clubs in MSB have offenses who've now scored over 300 runs. Six of those teams are between 300 and 350. The other team has over 400: The Winds, with 406. By comparison to the 2020 ACLs who won a record 122 games and scored a record 1035 runs, Santa Ana is on pace for 1015 runs. Nail their total runs scored by the end of Round 6 and get 5 points. Be within 5 runs, and you'll get 2 points.

3) In the "figure this one out" category, the Lakeview Rougarou are in 7th place in the KML with a 29-36 record, but have a +9 run differential. Compared to the -60 run differentials of the two teams that sandwich them, that's just a bizarre number. Nail their Run Differential on the nose after Round 6 and get 4 points. If you're within 3 runs, you'll get 1 point.

4) We're going STREAKING! Well, win-streaking, that is. If you're really into this, you might wanna check the game schedule. Each team below is on a winning streak. Nail the number where the win-streak ends for each team. 3 points for each bullseye.
A) The Miners are on a 7-game winning streak.
B) The Great Auk are on a 5-game winning streak.
C) The Winds are on a 5-game winning streak.
D) The ACLs are on a 4-game winning streak.

5) We've got some great inter-league matchups happening in Round 6. They're all 3-game sets. They all involve the best matchups I could find for each of the Top-5 teams pitted against another Top-5 team from the opposing league. Pick the winners for 1 point each. You may pick ONE sweep if you wish (and get 3 points if you're correct), no penalty.

I'm not normally a complainer, but I think it is kind of unfair to have GIG quesions only available for 2 days. Good luck to those who were johnny on the spot

Genuine apologies, Brian. To be fair, it was actually 62 hours (2.5+ days) from 6/22 at 8 PM to 6/25 at 10 AM.

That said, I'm incredibly sensitive to those of us who've missed a round in GIG. I missed one round last year and it cost me a placement. We've kicked around the idea of giving grace to guys that played all year but missed a round by giving them the average score of the week they missed. Or maybe equal to the lowest score, I forget which.
