Rule V eligibility clarification

A players eligible AB and IP are taken after the 2016 MLB season correct?

i think this was one of the changes effective for the 2018 season. Career stats now included up to the most recent MLB season, which would be 2017.

Thanks for the clarification Brent.  Note that, in making the change, you can still keep rookies for the same number of years as before, though you gain a year on the front end of their career and you have the option of extending all of your rookies, not just the single player as before with our ICE rule.
