GAME HIGHLIGHTS

A couple BIG offensive showings today.

~ In Walla Walla, Scurvy's Shohei Ohtani is not particularly sharp, giving up six hits and walking three in five innings, but he manages to wriggle off the hook each time and holds the Sweets scoreless.  It wouldn't have mattered much if he hadn't though as the Dogs offense hammers out 21 hits, including six home runs from six different hitter, on their way to 17 runs.  While below norms on the hill, Ohtani does club his league leading fifth home run.

~ Chicago runs its record to 6-1 with a 15-3 wipeout of Motor City.  An 11 run fourth inning is the Madmen's undoing.  Nathaniel Lowe, hoping to break out of a sub-.200 start, has the biggest hit of the inning, a grand slam following a walk, hit batsmen, and a second walk loads the bases.
