Free Agency gets started for Chicago

In week 2 of free agency, management inked Nick Markakis to what we feel is a very reasonable 2.75M 3-year contract. He'll bring much needed defense to the RF position and will see everyday AB's throughout the season.

This is the first signing, but the off-season will be less involved as compared to year's past. Management is looking to keep things conservative and keep some funds available to make a trade during the season.

Key needs are still finding another corner OF, one or two RP's and a full-time SP.

Willing to discuss and swing a trade that makes sense for our endeavors for the 2019 season and beyond.
