Who Needs Some Offense At the Catching Position?
Stephen Vogt has a reasonable 2M/2021 contract with excellent power vs both lefties and righties and has a clutch rating. The rare left handed hitting catcher rakes vs. RHP 's with a .271/.330/.505 split line. He doesn't have a ton of at bats left for the regular season but can help a bit then be a difference maker come playoff time. He's an average defender and even can play 1b in a pinch.
I also have D'Arnaud who is in his second year of Arbitration at 2M. While Vogt kills righties, D'Arnaud is a masher of lefties to the tune of .276/.312/.552. He's average at the position and like Vogt, can also play 1b when needed. He still has a good amount of bats to play with.
I'm looking for draft picks and some throw away at bats at the catching position to get me through the year if I deal them both.
