Sorry if you aren't in the Frick. I try not to be biased but there is some interesting stuff going on...

First of all, my Dogs (side note, on a 5 game win streak) are tied with the Koi for last place in the Frick with an above .500 record at 53-22. For comparison sake the Sweets and Honey Badgers are tied for 1st in the Uecker with a 52-53 record. So last place in the Frick > 1st place in the Uecker. Ouch...

The good thing is there we're past some of the interleague parts of the schedule so the Frick teams are going against each other which opens the door to upsetting the standings apple cart.

July 26
Miners over Koi 6-3
Bums over Blues 10-5
Dogs over HGH 7-5 in 10 (in the non Frick vs Frick game)

July 27
Koi over Miners 8-6
Bums over Blues 5-2
Dogs over HGH 7-1

July 28
Dogs over Blues 2-1 (that's a 4 game losing streak for the Blues)
Miners over Bums 3-1
Koi lose a heartbreaker 7-6 to the Robots

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out over the next few weeks (almost through the end of August) as all the teams are strictly playing each other, with the exception of the odd team out of course during each 3 game set.

In other news...
Rum Runners beat the Rattlers 3-2 in 11.
Edman hit a bottom of the 9th HR off Kimbrel to tie it, and then get a bases loaded walk in the 11th to win.

Maniax beat up on the ACL's 12-3.
The Maniax plate 9 in the 4th to win going away. Ramirez with 2 HR and 6 RBI included a granny in the 4th.

Brewers beat the Argos 3-0
Rodriguez and 3 RP allow only 3 hits and 0 walks, striking out 11.
