Steve Garvey Memorial League, SGML
Gentleman:
We are looking for owners to fill a new sim league on DMB. This league is being formed with Don Holcomb as commissioner and we'll be following the C.O. model from MSB.
League highlights;
The league will have between 20 to 24 owners. We are about half-way there currently.
Teams choose home ballpark as they join, which will also be your team name. League and divisional alignment will be based upon the draft order for the Inaugural draft.
Designated Hitter will be used in both leagues.
Following conclusion of each season, 30 players will be kept and a 10 round Free-Agent/Rookie draft.
No player contracts or minor league system.
Playing time limits for usage maximum and a minimum.
We have a league site started where the constitution can be viewed, the site isn't complete, but will have additional information. We will be using the MSB spreadsheet with some adjustments tailored to SGML.
