Limited time again (volleyball season has started), but some highlights:

~ Scurvy and Bako's win streaks both reach 9 straight games. Bako, much to this writers surprise, has extended their division lead to a league high 8 games over Phoenix. The Dogs nine game streak has moved them two games ahead of Moonstruck for the second wild card, and also within two games of Phoenix for the first wild card.

Game Highlights - Sept. 4th

~ The improbable rise from the ashes that has been Scurvy's second half is punctuated tonight by Gerrit Cole's 17th win. Making a push for Cy Young consideration, Cole pitches the second NO HITTER of this cycle, walking just one and striking out 11 Mother Lode hitters in leading the Dogs to a 7-0 victory. Congr . . . coughcough . . . sorry, something caught in my throat . . . congratulations to the Scurvy franchise and Gerrit Cole.

Way to end the season in style Cole. But since you’re at the usage limit you’ll need to take a little rest before the playoffs
