Series Highlights

This was the GiG set of series' from question #6. Here's the results:

~ Rum Runners give all playoff teams hope with a SWEEP of Ankeny.

~ Brooklyn keeps their gap on Chicago in the Harwell with a sweep of their own over Detroit.

~ Moonstruck takes two out of three from Rolla, but...

~ Actually lose a game to Scurvy who sweeps Grants Pass.

~ Phoenix holds their lead over Scurvy and Moonstruck in the Frick wild card race with a sweep of their own (four sweeps in this set of games!) over New York.

~ Bako streaks to 13 in a row before Mother Lode cools off the Bums in a 4-2 victory in game three of their series.

Game Highlight - Sept. 8th

~ Motor City's young superstar, Ronald Acuna, has himself a day on Sept. 8th. Leading the Madmen to a 9-8 victory, Acuna launches 3 home runs and drives in four. Acuna has had a monster year with 119 runs scored, 94 RBI out of the leadoff spot, and with 37 HR and 39 RBI is the only member of the 30-30 club this year. As we finish out the last couple weeks of the season, will he join the even more exclusive 40-40 club???
