Series Highlights
~ Brooklyn travels to Ankeny to take on the ACL's. Ankeny is a poor host, serving the Kraken three straight losses and dropping them into a tie atop the Harwell.
~ Chicago takes advantage of the sweep by taking two out of three from Lakeview to knot up the division.
~ Bako loses two out of three in their interfamilial match with Grants Pass, which open the door to...
~ The streaking Miners. Phoenix has now won 9 games in a row and has closed the gap on the Bums to five games.
~ Moonstruck takes three one-run victories over Mother Lode and, coupled with Scurvy's difficulties with Pittsburgh, has tied up the race for the 2nd wild card in the Frick. Moonstruck and Scurvy both sit at 83-66.
~ The Uecker has also tightened up with Rolla's recent slump. The Brewers series win in Bako has put them in a tie with Rolla atop the Uecker, with Mother Lode and Pittsburgh just three games back. Although all four teams are well under .500, somebody has to win the division . . . right?
