On The Run, OTB

I don't have any current trade talks going on, but I would certainly entertain some offers if they are coming. Like most owners in the rebuilding process I'm looking for near MLB prospects or team control position players and pitching.

Every player has a price, I firmly believe that. If you see someone you have interest in, make me an offer. I'm busy prepping for MLB draft, fantasy football gearing up, etc.

I would also entertain moving down in the draft after the first round, but would want to get an upgrade in prospects in the process.

As for others, email is likely the best method of contact, but text works too at 573-268-2605. If you haven't contacted me that way before, include your name so I know who you are.

I left Jose Bautista off of the list since he has a substantial salary compared to his production for 2017 and 2018. 15.5M is a good chunk, but his production for most of 2017 has been known at this point and the remainder of 2017 is a pro-rated amount.

While I think I would have to take an inferior player, I sure could use the salary relief from my roster. It might be time to reach out and make some offers and see if I can drum up some deals since the Minors Draft appears to be winding down at this point.

With the Keuchel for Strop and a 5th trade, I think I've proven to be either stupid or creative. I'm not sure and I think the truth will come out in free-agency. If DK goes for more than 10M, which I think would be high than I was smart as I don't think I would have paid nearly that much as I have too many holes to fill. If he goes in the 5-8M range, then it was likely a bad move as the HTD could have been applied.

I also wanted to add that if you have interest in Mauer or Morneau, both would be pretty good LHB in a platoon, the salary ratio is about to shift. Looking to get a 2018 contract that is cheaper, but useful in return.

I also looked around at rosters and didn't see an immediate fit, but could be creative in a move of Jose Bautista. His 15.5M salary is a load, but it's only 2018. If a salary swap could be completed and I get a better defensive player, I would be interested. He would be a great DH, I just don't have that spot open. I would even take on 2-3M in salary for an upgrade of one to two players.

I'm still poking around for deals to be made ahead of the trade deadline.
