Asterisks waive EIGHT minor leaguers

Reese McGuire
Jacob Nottingham
Yoan Lopez 
Oscar Hernandez
Cody Ponce
Miguel Flames
Chris Anderson
Brian Matusz (2018)

All on my minors squad.  Unconditional releases for all.  Some of these guys have been favorites of mine for several years.  But none of them are proving worth keeping at this point.

Oh, I had big hopes for Reese McGuire .... there was a decent group of catchers in 2012/13, but I don't think any of them amounted to anything.

I bought into the Reese hype, obviously.  I think I took him in round 2.  He's still very good defensively, but if you can't hit, I'm not keeping you.
