On The Run - Kimbrel

Mr. Kimbrel recently expressed interest in being traded to a contending team. He's unhappy with his situation, multiple relief innings and bullpen status. As management, this is disappointing to hear, but we are happy to search out a viable trade option.

Although this is going to be a tough sell, Chicago is willing to put out the effort to make a deal happen in order to keep the peace in the clubhouse and at the same time make sure everyone understands that complaining about your situation isn't always the easiest way out of town. Mr. Strop was recently acquired and he went from being a closer to one stuck in a very deep right-handed and at times dominant bullpen.

Chicago is looking for a high level and close to MLB ready position prospect and a either a low level prospect or draft pick upgrade in return for Mr. Kimbrel who is under contract through 2019 at 4.5M. The remaining 2017 salary is getting ever closer to being less with the August 15th date approaching in the season. This isn't a triggering factor as a deal will be made once an agreement can be reached. Rum Runners management is reachable by email, text or communication with this website.
