GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Kraken @ Runners
Brooklyn has cracked the Chicago code.  A combined four hit shutout and a relentless 15 hit attack lead the Kraken to a 9-0 whitewash of Chicago.  Brooklyn's EIGHTH STRAIGHT WIN moves them into sole possession of first place in the KML with a league best 16-4 record.

Argos @ Koi
Arizona rookie hurler Bobby Miller pitches the best game of the young season; a 92 pitch Maddux.  Miller gives up a single to open the game to Spencer Steer, but Steer is thrown out trying to stretch the hit into a double and that is all the Argos can muster for the rest of the game.  Miller's complete game, 1-hit, 11 strikeout brilliance is needed as Arizona manages only two hits themselves and doesn't plate the sole run of the game until two outs into the eighth.

Thunder @ Miners
All the aces in the Tucson clubhouse . . . Wheeler, Strider, Kershaw, Kelly . . . and the Thunder's best starter so far is rookie Javier Assad.  The young righty completes six shutout innings to win his third game of the season and lower his ERA to 2.92.

Bums @ Yetis
In similar fashion from the offensive side, Bako's lineup boasts Pete Alonso, Adolis Garcia, Bobby Witt Jr., Triston Casas, and former MVP Andrew McCutchen, and the Bums best hitter is . . . rookie backstop Shea Langeliers.  Langeliers collects another two hits to raise his average to .413, hits his 6th home run and drives in another five runs to pace Bako's 7-3 victory.
