Here are the questions for Round 2, with answers due this Monday night.
1) Four MSB pitchers threw a shutout in Round 1 (the ACLs' Williams, Sweets' Ryu, Honey Badgers' Keuchel, and Rum Runners' Strasburg). How many pitchers will throw a 9-inning shut out in Round 2 (nail it for 2 points)? Name ONE (2 points).
2) Sorry Shane. But dang... the Garden Hammers have lost 9 in a row. They start Round 2 with 12 games at home, however, so there's that. The begin with a 3-game set against the Robots, then host the Landlubbers for 3, then 2 against the Madmen. Beyond that, if you think they'll still be losing (sadness!), you can look up the schedule yourself. For 2 points (nail it), what will be the total number of the losing streak? Again, it's at 9 now.
3) Mookie Betts is off to a crazy hot start. He is #1 in the first 6 categories the database pulls up (BA, OBP, SLG, Hits, Runs, RBI). And some aren't even close between Mookie and 2nd place. He's hitting .442. Question: Is he still above .400 at the end of Round 2? One point for yes. 2 points for no.
4) The Rougarou, Rum Runners, and Sweets are all sporting team ERA's under 3:
