Argonauts-Rattlers


Rattlers trade Ace P Justin Verlander to Argonauts for their 2019 1st rd pick and minor leaguers P Kyle Wright and OF Drew Waters.

This went back and forth with a few interested parties and the  players involved in the deal will help Windy City in the near future.

Argonauts confirm.  I went back and forth on this deal.  It's always very hard for me to trade prospects, but in the end, 2 years of Verlander was just to good to pass up.

Good working with you Ed.  You knew what you wanted and stuck to your guns and I respect that very much.

Just to confirm but this is the 20th pick of round one, which was originally the Kraken's pick.
