Argonauts and Miners Play the Name Game and Strike Gold

Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn may take the cake for strangest and best character name of all time, but these REAL life characters are a close 2A and 2B.  As Greg Gaffin (Bad Religion) famously sang and Mark Twain famously wrote (just a few years prior), "Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction."

And so the story goes, the Mother Lode Argonauts trade shortstop Dansby Swanson (500K/2021) to the Phoenix Miners for catcher Chance Sisco (500K/2022).

Two fantastically named high pedigreed players that should make the other team better than they could have with their original team.  The perfect kind of trade for all involved.

Great working with you David.

As always, Matt’s announcement of the trade is as good as the trade itself.  Trade confirmed.

I thought I was supposed to make the next trade.  You know, between the Blues and the Asterisks.
