GIG 2021, Round 6 (June 14 thru June 26)

1) Three teams are currently "battling" for the number 1 overall pick in next years MiL draft. At the end of the cycle who will be in pole position?
Knights (19-46) +1
Robots (22-43) +4
Rattlers (24-41) +6
Field (next closest is HGH at 28-37 so it's pretty unlikely meaning I'll give good odds here) +15

2) I have made fun of the Yucker, excuse me Uecker, for their combined run differential. But it's a very interesting race with only a handful of games separating the top four teams. The most interesting team is the Argos, who are currently in 1st place (technically tied for 1st with the Honey Badgers) but have a -44 run differential which suggests a recession to the mean is potentially in order. For comparative sake the HB have a +24 run differential. Here's the question - for two points, will the Argos be in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th place in the division at the end of the cycle (ties count).

3) I don't think we've ever done a question like this before. For 2 points, will any player exceed the usage rules? Hint - You'll need to run the Team Status report to do your research on this one, but it's a great time to check on the status of your own team and potentially make a MP change!

4) Among qualified fielders, Nicky Lopez has a slim lead over the field for SS Fielding Percentage. Who will lead the league at the end of the cycle?
Lopez (.990) +1
Bogaerts (.989) or Simmons (.988) +2
Semien (.986) +3
Ahmed (.984) +4
Peraza, Andrus, or Lindor (all at .982) +5
Field +10

5) June 16-18 feature a 3-game set with two of the top teams in the league, Bums at ACL's. Which team will win the set? Since the ACL's have a better record and are at home I'll give slightly better odds to the Bums.

Optionally - predict a sweep for an additional (+2) but (-1) if you're wrong.

Optional 6) I had fun with Q4 last cycle, but there was 7 teams left out. So we'll do the same question as last week, but you can only select from the following list: Koi, Argonauts, Knights, Garden Hammers, Robots, Madmen, and Rattlers. Same rules as last week, IF YOU DECIDE TO PLAY you get the difference in their won/loss record. However there isn't any time constraints this week and you can select as many teams (or all of them) that you want.

1. I'll try to pick up some extra points so I'll take the Robots.
2. Argos will be 1st. Not to push anyone in any direction but I must defend the my team. After a truly miserable start we've cut my negative run differential nearly by half over the last month or so.
