Game Highlights

KML Conference

Hammers 7, Wolves 0
With their win today, Hawaiian pulls within one game of Santa Ana.  Tomorrow will decide the KML Conference champion.  If Santa Ana wins, obviously they take the conference crown.  But if Hawaiian wins, they tie the Wolves at the top of the conference, and with the win tomorrow would win the season series with Santa Ana as well and take the tie breaker!  No pressure boys!

Rougarou 6, Madmen 0
Miles Mikolos pitches into the eighth allowing just five hits as Lakeview wins its FIFTH STRAIGHT to pull into a tie for the third wild card spot.  After an error laeds off the game, Nick Allen parks his second homer to give the Rougarou all the runs they'll need.  A win tomorrow cements a playoff spot for Lakeview.

Robots 6, Landlubbers 4
Ann Arbor asks a little too much of closer Kenley Jansen and the Robots capitalize with four runs in the 12th to drop the Landlubbers into that tie with Lakeview.

Tubemen 4, ACL's 3
Whacky scores an extra inning victory to keep their playoff hopes alive, and knock Ankeny out.  The Tubemen have to win tomorrow and hope for a loss from Lakeview or Ann Arbor.

Kraken 6, Rattlers 5
Brooklyn finishes off their season in walk off fashion when Austin Meadows doubles home Victor Caratini in the 12th inning.

Frick Conference

Bums 7, Koi 0
Jeffrey Springs finishes off his perfect 9-0 season with six innings of shutout ball.  Bako takes over the top spot in the Frick by one game, but the conference is still in the balance as Walla Walla is just one game back and holds the tiebreaker over Bako.

Thunder 13, Anglerfish 3
Tucson breaks out the offense, pounding out 16 hits to cruise past San Diego to remain one game back of Bako.

Argos 3, Sweets 1
Walla Walla falls into a second place tie in the Frick, but not all is lost.  They must win tomorrow to force Bako's hand.

Dogs 9, Miners 8
Is there such thing as a bad time for a winning streak?  SEVEN IN A ROW for Scurvy.

Auk 4, Brewers 1
Great scores four in the eighth, three on Spencer Torkelson's bases clearing double, to top Grants Pass.
