JP France outduels Zach Wheeler, completing seven 3-hit shutout innings in his best start of the season. Freddie Freeman doubles home Jonathan India in the third inning in the Everest 1-0 home victory.
Bums @ Koi
Framber Vadez goes the distance for Bako, striking out 11 in eight innings. Bryce Elder and a pair of relievers out do that though, surrendering just five hits and two runs as Arizona knocks off Bako, 3-2. In a bit of eccentricity, the Koi manage their three runs without recording a single RBI, thanks to an error and a pair of run scoring double play grounders.
Brewers @ Auk
The starting pitching is still shaky in Great. Freddy Peralta manages to complete six, striking out eight and surrendering only four hits. But he also allows five runs to the Brewers. The offense rescues Peralta from the firing line, launching four home runs and crossing the dish ten times to send Great to the 10-5 win.
Madmen @ Rougarou
A night after 15 hits and 10 runs, Motor City ups the ante in Lakeview. The offense tallies 16 hits and 12 runs in the rubber game of the set, winning the series with a resounding 12-3 win.
Hammers @ Sea Wolves
Santa Ana rides Kyle Bradish's strong start and some timely hitting in the middle innings to win their fifth in a row, 5-0 over Hawaiian Gardens. Coupled with Chicago's continued slide and Brooklyn's fifth straight loss, the Sea Wolves have tied up the top of the KML.
