GIG Round 5: Old School Questions

Hey Gents!

I'll get to the tallies from Round 4 ASAP.

For this month, let's do some "old school" style questions. Good luck!

1) The Roxbury Robots have the unique distinction of not losing a game when leading after 7 innings (20-0). Will they lose one of those games in July? Yes = 2 pts, No = 1 pt.

2) The Madmen (0-47) and Tubemen (0-31) share the honor of not winning a game when trailing after 7 innings.
a) Will the Madmen win such a game in July? Yes = 2 pts, No = 1 pt.
b) Will the Tubemen win such a game in July? Yes = 2 pts, No = 1 pt.

3) The Madmen (0-3) and Argos (0-4) are the only two teams not to win an extra-inning game this season.
a) Will the Madmen get that extra-inning win in July? Yes = 2 pts, No = 1 pt.
b) Will the Argos get it? Yes = 2 pts, No = 1 pt.

4) Spencer Strider (Thunder, 125), Corbin Burns (Winds, 125), and Gerrit Cole (Dogs, 124) are in a great battle for the lead in strikeouts. As far as I can tell, Burns and Cole are in no danger of being pulled from their rosters (200+ real life innings each), although I *may* pull Strider toward the very end of the month to preserve him for a few starts in September. So factor that in.
Question: Which pitcher will lead the league in K's come the end of July? 3 points.

5) The Brewers' Yu Darvish looks to be the front-runner for the MSB Cy Young Award. Fun stat: He leads the league in ERA (1.59, .11 points better than Strider), and he also leads the league in average run support (6.4, .5 points ahead of teammate Logan Gilbert).
a) Predict Darvish's full-season ERA come July 31. Nail it = 5 points. Within 0.10 = 2 points.
b) Predict Darvish's full-season average run support come July 31. Nail it = 5 points. Within 0.3, = 2 points.

6) Let's highlight two hitters: The Garden Hammers' Paul Goldschmidt, and the Winds' Mike Trout. Absolute beasts. Goldy is crushing the league in AVE (.370, .035 ahead of 2nd-place McNeil) and OBP (.452, a whopping .070. ahead of 2nd-place Franco), and Trout is literally .100 above 2nd-place Goldy in SLG (.749-.649). Crazy.
a) Goldschmidt has a 17-game hitting streak going right now. Nail the number on which that streak ends. Start with 17 (1 point), and every increased number gives you another point if you are correct. (18=2, 19=3, 20=4, and so on).
b) Trout has 70 RBI.  In 71 games! With 25 games in July, does Trout get to 100 RBI this month? Yes = 5 points. No = 2 points.
c) Bonus question, let's go ahead and try to nail that RBI total for Trout. Get it right, you get another 3 points.

Gig Round 5 Predictions are due by Saturday night, unless Rod says otherwise. Have fun!

Very low scores - didn't really move the needle for anyone. Blame Darvish and Trout for severely under-performing, and Strider for pitching so well, I only have to bench him for August to preserve 5 final starts in September.
