GIG Round 6

Tallies for Round 5 are on their way. Here are the questions for Round 6. These questions regard the 29 games played in August. Good Luck!

1) Let's do some classic "I can't believe they haven't won/lost a game like that" questions:
Two teams going in opposite directions have one thing in common: They've yet to win an extra inning game. The Argonauts, at 56-40, are 0-5 in extras. The Madmen, at 31-65, are in the same boat (0-4 in extras). Choose your answer:
a) The Argos will win one (or more), but the Madmen won't. 2 pts
b) The Madmen will win one (or more), but the Argos won't. 3 pts
c) They'll both will win one or more. 3 pts
d) Neither will win one. 4 pts
e) Neither will even have the opportunity to play an extra inning game. 4 pts

2) The ACLs have yet to lose when TIED after 7 innings. Will they finally lose? Yes = 3 pts, No = 2 pts.

3) The 9th place Robots are 26-0 when LEADING after 7 innings. Well done! Will they finally lose one of those? Yes = 3 pts, No = 2.

4) The Madmen have yet to win a game when LOSING after 7 innings. They are 0-60 in such games. Will they finally get that late come-back win? Yes = 4 pts, No = 1.

Moving on to other types of questions...

5) We have a 3-way tie for wins among pitchers in MSB with 12. And 2 others are 1 win behind. Still, at least 5 others are just 2 behind. I'll call those who are 2 behind "the field." Pick a name, and if he's in the lead or tied, you'll get the points.
Verlander (12) = 2 pts
Darvish (12) = 2 pts
Alcantara (12) = 2 pts
Lauer (11) = 4 pts
Manaea (11) = 4 pts
"The Field" (10) = 6 pts

6) One other good battle happening: Home Runs. I'll post the top three. "The Field" starts with Alonso with 27 dingers, just so you know how far back he is. Pick the name, you'll get the points.
Mike Trout (34) = 2 pts
Aaron Judge (32) = 4 pts
Yordan Alvarez (31) = 5 pts
"The Field" (27 and under) = 7 pts

7) Which team will be sitting atop the Frick come August 31? Ties count. The points you'll receive are based on current games back, plus one.

8 ) Which team will be sitting atop the KML come August 31? Ties count. The points you'll receive are based on current games back, plus one.

9) While the Brewers have the best offense (judged by runs scored: 40 more runs than the Sweets and ACLs (447 each), there's a good battle going on for best team pitching (according to runs allowed). Pick the team and get the points.
