I have to admit, I think this is an even more "team friendly" deal than Stanton's.  Pham is a very under the radar player, but we're talking about a top 15 hitter over the last two seasons.  wOBA.....wRC+.......OPS......oWAR.......OBP......runs scored.......Stolen Bases.  He ranks in the mid-teens in all of them.  Very well rounded and very productive.

His 10.1 WAR the past two seasons places him 14th in the majors, sandwiched between Paul Goldschmidt and Joey Votto.

I was pleasantly surprised at this signing.

Dude, you don't have to rub it in my face!  I had the HTD on him, but the need isn't as strong with the rest of my outfield locked up already.  I'd have signed him for $5M or under, if I could.  And yes - agreed - would've been a bargain.
