GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Kraken @ Rattlers
Colin Rea and Felix Bautista 2-hit Brooklyn and the only run comes on an RBI double off the bat of JD Davis in the fourth.  Windy City prolongs Brooklyn's losing streak with a 1-0 victory.

Argos @ Sweets
A tough season to date for Trea Turner is made a little sweeter as he walks off Mother Lode with his fifth homer, leading off the ninth.

Madmen @ Rougarou
Motor City scores early and often, led by Cody Bellinger's four hit night.  Bellinger doubles and homers twice, driving in three runs to pace a 15 hit, 10 run attack.  Lakeview raps out ten hits of their own, but the can't string them together well, producing only a single run (a solo homer) as they suffer the 10-1 loss.

Bums @ Koi
The first team to 20 wins, Bako follows ace Gerrit Cole's seven strong innings to the 4-3 win.  Shea Langeliers continues to lead the offense (who'da ever thunk THAT would be an actual sentence...) with his 8th home run and two RBI.

Dogs @ Miners
#cantbeatmeonPeloton #cantbeatanyonerightnow... Phoenix sends Sonny Gray to an early shower with seven runs in two innings.  Aaron Nola fares much better for the home team, coming within one out of a 4-hit shutout.  A walk, double and RBI single ends his night after 8.2 superb innings and Jakob Junis ends the "threat", inducing a routine groundout to shortstop.  The surging Miners take the home win, 8-1.

Thunder @ Yetis
On the heels of #cantbeatanyonerightnow's skid, archrival #donttradewithKyle has picked up their play.  Winners of three straight and seven of their last ten, the Thunder have pulled even with the Dogs after doubling up Everest, 4-2.  Spencer Strider (2 H, 2 ER, 4 BB, 12 K) goes only five, but collects the win.

In other news ........ new Auk manager Bruno "Skippy" Dumbrowski enjoys his first victory at the helm of the team.    The real test is tomorrow to see if he can motivate a starting pitcher not named Verlander to throw the ball with any effectiveness.

Is your new cyber manager related to Lou Brown? Seems like a possibility.

We're not really sure who "Skippy" Dumbrowski is.   After the old manager was fired and escorted off the premises Skippy the upper deck beer vendor was just nearby.    He said yes when asked to manage the team.    Rumor has it that the owner as soon as he is off the ventilator will fire the pitching coach as soon as that bum can be found and replace him with the bullpen coach.        Skippy is now 2-0
