The Sweets have decided to leave Walla Walla and start fresh in Rolla, Missouri. Ownership hates to do this to the community of Walla Walla but with strong ties to Rolla and a community that has been wanting a sports team this feels like the right move.
Does this mean that the new team name is the Rolla Rolla Sweets :P
Unfortunately it doesn't roll off the tongue the same as Walla Walla....
Did you pack up in the middle of the night on a Mayflower truck? The community of Walla Walla will never be the same :)
