Title: Michigan(d)ers
Post by: ocd on February 23, 2022, 05:29:12 AM
I see 3 team names indicating so, but perhaps there are more.

I suddenly have a lot of free time & am thinking of flying into DTW next week for a few days to drive UP & down Michigan.

Where are folks in the state?  Up for a beer?  I'm planning on driving up the east side, down the west to Sawyer where I have an old friend, then to Ann Arbor before flying out of Detroit again.

I live next to Ann Arbor. Madmen(Brian) is near by. I might be able to meet up depending on the day and time.
If you stop in Grand Rapids during your trip down the west you should go to Founders for beer and food.

I'm about an hour or so from Ann Arbor but I doubt I'd be able to drive  up there during tax season. I'm pretty much working 12-14 hour days every day of the week. Sorry to miss the opportunity.

I would up for a beer and some food. I live about 20 minutes north of Ann Arbor, just south of Brighton.

I spent a lot of time (pre-pandemic) in Troy MI when our bank purchased a commercial bank based out of Troy. I found it was a ton easier to fly into Flint vs Detroit. Just don’t drink the water :)

Wow, Flint and Troy, you sure saw the best of Michigan.

so Lubbers & Madmen can join the Hammers on the 2nd?  Any time for dinner would be fine for me.  I'm staying south of campus & the pub looks not too far NW of it.
