The claiming team takes on full responsibility of the contract. If no team clams the waived player then the contract is flipped to an NRO.If in following years the player is nominated for FA and signed the NRO is reduced by the new contract amount. If the new contract is greater than the NRO (rare, but plausible) the NRO is removed.Reminder - you may not bid on your own NRO players if they are nominated. Quote Selected
