June 28

Game Highlights

KML wins the day, taking eight of ten games.

Landlubbers over Anglerfish, 4-2
Behind Patrick Sandoval's 8th win and Tommy Edman's perfect 4-4 day at the plate, Ann Arbor hold their three game lead in the conference.

Garden Hammers over Bums, 7-5
Not a pretty game in Hawaii (is that even possible?), but the Hammers outlast the Bums with Paul Goldschmidt going 3-3 with a double, homer, three runs and three RBI.

Sea Wolves over Koi, 4-3 (10 innings)
Garrett Hampson provides the winning edge with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth and Santa Ana remains tied with Hawaiian three back of Ann Arbor.

ACL's over Brewers, 2-1
Juan Soto homers leading off the home half of the first inning and Sam Haggerty follows with an RBI double to give Ankeny and Michael Kopech all they'll need.

Tubemen over Thunder, 3-1
Ross Stripling leads from the hill with seven innings of three hit, one run ball.  The bullpen follows with two hitless innings to put away Tucson.

Kraken over Dogs, 7-3
Brooklyn puts up a six spot in the bottom of the first and never looks back.

Rattlers over Miners, 6-2
Starling Marte and Vlad Guerrero homer and Hunter Greene pitches a very efficient seven innings to lead Windy City over Phoenix.

Madmen over Auk, 8-7
Motor City claws back from an early six run deficit to down Great.  The Madmen bullpen does yeoman's work, throwing 7.1 innings of three hit, one run ball.

The only two Frick teams to escape the KML whipping today are the two streaking teams...

Argos over Rougarou, 5-2
Once again, it's the bullpen who saves the day.  Mother Lode relievers pitch 7 inning of three hit shutout ball and strike out 10 Lakeview hitters on the way to the Argos FIFTH STRAIGHT WIN.

Sweets over Robots, 14-1
Roxbury actually led in this game after scoring in the first inning.  Walla Walla snuffs out any Robot hopes with a six run second inning and another five runs in the fourth as they cruise to their SIXTH STRAIGHT VICTORY.

This made me go look at Frick vs KML. I didn't realize how many more wins Frick has over KML! I've been so focused on our internal chaos.
