Robbie Ray turns in his second straight stellar start (1 hit, 0 runs, 7 K's) and the Motor City bullpen completes the 3 hit shutout.
Sea Wolves over Koi, 4-1
Mike Trout continues to roll, doubling and driving in two (league leading 70 RBI) for Santa Ana.
Rougarou over Argos, 8-5
Lakeview takes an 8-1 lead behind six strong innings from Justin Verlander. The bullpen falters a bit, but the Rougarou survive Mother Lode's late inning rallies for the win.
Kraken over Dogs, 6-4
Surely Gerrit Cole shares the same sentiments as Rod . . . I'm fired. Daniel Vogelbach crushes a three run homer into the upper deck down the right field line in the first inning to jump start the Brooklyn offense.
Bums over Garden Hammers, 6-3
The Bums ride a four run seventh inning and two Yadiel Hernandez home runs for the victory.
Rattlers over Miners, 5-2
Carlos Rodon leads from the hill and Jorge Polanco homers for the Windy City offense.
Thunder over Tubemen, 3-2
Thank goodness for Thairo Estrada. The Tucson second baseman drives in all three Thunder runs, including the game winning RBI single in the seventh.
Brewers over ACL's, 6-0
Yu Darvish completes his own 4 hit, 11 K shutout. The GP ace is leading the league with 11 wins and a 1.59 ERA, and has risen to the top of the early Cy Young balloting.
