LAA first round pick, and Mutiny Sea Wolves first round pick this year, Nolan Schanuel, already getting called up to majors.

Wow! That’s really saying something after less than 100 plate appearances in pro ball.

Not sure if that’s ‘Schanuel is an absolute stud’ or ‘the Angels are in a world of hurt’, but nonetheless . . . good for Schanuel. Quite the accomplishment to hit the Show a month out of college.

I feel like we've seen a few quick promotions for relievers, but I can't think of a hitter that's moved this quickly.

He was considered the most big league ready hitter in the class, but that typically still means and year or two for a hitter.
