Argos at Sweets:
After getting left off the divisional roster Fried felt like he had something to prove.
And he did!
6 innings, 5 hits, 0 runs, 1 BB, 7 K's.
Munoz finished the game for one of those wonky 3-inning saves as the Argos win 9-0.
Happ and Devers each with HR, while Chisolm had 2 HR.

Rougarou at Landlubbers:
Buxton got the scoring going early with a 2nd inning sac fly. But later in the inning Sancez hit a 2-run HR to give the Rougarou a 3-0 lead. Which is typically all you need when Verlander is on the mound.
Verlander = 7 innings, 5 hits, 1 run, 1 BB, 7 K's as the Rougarou win 3-1.

ex-Great Auks being featured in the write-ups. Buxton and Fried helping their teams getting ahead in the league championship series. A third ex-Auk Webb took it on the chin the first game but he was stellar for the Sweets after the trade deadline. When you trade for an Auk you are getting quality. Of course in 2024 The Great Auk will be buyers and fully expect to get to the league championship round at least.
