Argonauts vs Rougarou:
Ryan vs Verlander

Things started off strong for the Argos:
double, single, 3-run HR by Rodriguez puts the Argos up 3-0 in the top of the 1st. Also that single was by Harper broke his 0-9 schneid in the series.

Fast forward to the bottom of the 5th.
Buxton was HBP and scored after consecutive singles to make the score 3-1. However, Cyber Matt should have pulled Ryan after the 5th as the Rougarou started off the 6th with a single, HR (by Correa) to tie the score 3-3, and then another single before he was pulled. But Coleman got the Argos out of the inning otherwise unscathed.

Argos 7th: single (chases Verlander), but a CS ends the threat
Rougarou 7th: single, but a DP ends the threat
Argos 8th: walk, single, walk loads the bases - but Harris grounds out to 2b to end the threat
Rougarou 8th: 1-2-3
Argos 9th: pinch-hit two-out single, single puts runners on the corners, pinch-hit flyout to CF. Can't say the Argos didn't have chances.
Rougarou 9th: flyout, walk, K, single puts winning run on 3rd, pinch-hit, pitching change, pinch-hitter Nick Allen with a walk-off single to RF. Rougarou win 4-3.

Allen hit .190/.250/.381 for the Rougarou after coming over in trade from my Dogs. It also was his first AB of the postseason, that might have been the most important hit of his career.

Fans in Lakeview are looking for brooms.
