Argonauts at Rougarou:
Alcantara vs Mikolas

Both pitchers were up to the task.
Alcantara - 7 innings, 7 hits, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 K's
Mikolas - 6.2 innings, 9 hits, 2 ER, 1 BB, 7 K's

This game really came down to the bullpens. With the scored tied 2-2 in the bottom of the 8th the Rougarou scored a couple runs rather unconventionally. Ready for this? After a ground out started the inning it went:
HBP
Walk
Another HBP to load the bases
Infield single
Sac fly
Rougarou lead 4-2 and I think I hear 'Narcos' coming over the speakers. Diaz picks up his 3rd save of the series, striking out two. Rougarou are your new champs!

In the series:
Loaisiga - 2.2 innings 2 hits. 0 runs, 1 BB, 3 K's. 1-0 with 2 holds
Diaz - 3.2 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 1 BB, 6 K's, 3 saves

On the offensive side for the Rougarou:
Correa takes home the MVP (unless you wanted to vote for Diaz, I wouldn't object)
Correa - .353/.450/.765 - 2 HR, 3 runs, 5 RBI

Aided by the 9 runs in G4, the Argos actually outscored the Rougarou 18-17, but the Rougarou won when it mattered winning the series in 5 games.

Congrats to both Matt and Brian on excellent seasons. This year was a lot of fun gents with close races in both divisions. Hopefully everyone is coming back for more fun next year!

Congratulations to the Rougarou. My only consolation is that I've been sent to the sidelines by the eventual WS winners the past two years. On to 2024!
