Maniax vs ACL's:
Lopez vs Paxton
ACL's jumped out early, on a 2-run HR by Torres in the 1st. The Maniax answered the in the 2nd playing small ball (walk, SB, walk, single, wild pitch, RBI ground-out, single) which gave them a 3-2 lead.
In the 3rd Paxton was again wild, allowing another single and another wild pitch, but no runs were scored. But in the 4th Peralta reached via error and scored on a Lecroy double. That ended the night for Paxton with a line of 3.2 innings, 4 runs (3 earned), 5 hits, 3 walks.
Lopez wasn't much better however allowing back-to-back HR in the 4th by Torres and Sano to tie the game back up.
Ramirez lead off the 5th with a HR to give the Maniax 5-4 lead. And that's where it stayed from there.
Maniax win 5-4, series is now tied 1-1
Brewers vs Bums:
Clevinger vs James
Check this sequence out - single, wild pitch, walk with a passed ball allowing the runner to advance again, single, ground out to the catcher (failed bunt???), single. That's 3 runs for the Brewers to start the game.
Honestly I don't have a bunch of more time today so I'm gonna made this recap short and sweet. The Bums scored a couple runs in the 4th (interestingly there was a passed ball on a walk in that sequence too) but the Bums really never challenged.
Brewers win 6-2, series is now tied 1-1
