2016 World Series rematch!!!
The Asterisks scored 2 in the top of the 8th to take a 2-1 lead and handed the ball to Cishek to close it out. But the Nomads had other ideas. Bradley Jr lead off the bottom of the 9th with a HR deep to RF. Alvarez followed with a double to RC. And Kipnis followed that with a walkoff HR to RF for the 4-3 victory. And in case you were wondering, the wind was blowing right to left in Target Field so all of the shots Cishek gave up were not wind aided.
This has been an incredibly frustrating season for the Nomads. Glad to see some positive news for a change! Hopefully this gets the momentum going.
