He went for less that I would have expected.  I'm thinking the constant arm worries and Mile High move deflated his contract?

I agree as well.  And this was a bidding I would have jumped into in many other years because it was good value.  Alas, a ninth inning shut down reliever is not a need on the Bums this season.

I definitely considered the risk but at the price I'm happy.  I wasn't quite sure I'd have room in my budget for a closer.
