League files and website updated...

HotN:
The leaders of the Central and East squared off for a couple games tonight and it was the ACL's coming up with a pair of wins over the Kraken.

In G1 - Happ and a pair of relief pitchers combined on a 5 hitter as Ankeny won 5-2. Baez with a 3-run HR in the 6th for the winning margin
In G2 - The Kraken probably should have won had they not left 12 runners on base. Too many wasted opportunities in the 5-3 loss. And if there is a weak link in the Brooklyn armor it might be Leake who fell to 2-6 with a 5.51 ERA.

With Brooklyn's losses it makes it a very tight race in the HC conference for the top overall record. Brooklyn still has the lead, but they are only 2 games up on Ann Arbor (I really should talk about them more as they have the 2nd best record in the league) and only 3 games up on Ankeny.

Honorable Mention:
It pains me to say it, but the hottest team in the league is the Asterisks. Yuck...
The won 4-0 over the Brewers as Montgomery allowed only a 2nd inning single to Castro, otherwise he was damn near perfect. In fact he retired 20 straight batters after that hit. Asterisks have now won 7 straight games.
