Miners prevent the Asterisks from winning their 11th game in a row with a 5-1 win. Jones and Kinsler with a pair of RBI, Gausman and a trio of RP combine to hold the Asterisks offense in check.

Honorable Mention:
A pair of complete game shutouts:
Cache Hogs 5-0 over the Bums as Archer goes the distance, allowing only 5 hits while striking out 12.
Kraken 11-0 over the Rum Runners as Blach goes the distance, allowing only 4 hits but he only struck out 2

More "fun" Kraken facts:
Both Granderson and Morrison hit grand slams in this game. And yes folks, that's how you have the best record in the league when guys who are batting .176 and .189 hit grand slams for you
