There isn't a whole lot else to talk about, so we'll continue with the troubles in Scurvy and Ankeny.

8 games ago Ankeny held a 1 game lead over Data City heading into their 10 game set. Now facing the possibility of a historic 10 game sweep (is that even a thing?) vs their rivals who they now trail by 7 games. Ankeny has lost 10 in a row in total and in fact only have a 6 game lead over the Devils for the final wild card. Loses tonight we 4-3 in 10 innings and 10-5.

Things might even be more dire for the Dogs as their lead for the final wild card spot is down to 3 games over the Miners. Since trading for Darvish/Ray they have been one of the worst teams in the league going 21-30 over that stretch (only expansion teams Bako, Roxbury, and Seattle have been worse). Loses tonight were 4-1 vs the Nomads (16 strikeout performance from Sale) and 11-9 vs the Devils in a game they lead 9-2 at one point.
