After going through 8 other relief pitchers, Gio Gonzalez entered the game in the top of the 9th to try to keep the 10-5 game close for the Nomads. It didn't work out that way. His line for the night:

Gonzalez - 1 inning, 7 hits, 11 earned runs, 7 walks, 0 K's

11 ACL's baserunners scored in the frame making the final score 21-7. Ouch.

(dis)Honorable Mention:
Assterisks back into the playoffs dropping games against the Madmen and Rattlers but clinch the Western anyway due to losses by the Koi. They'll have HFA throughout the conference playoffs and still have an outside shot of HFA throughout the playoffs as they trail the Kraken by 2 games for the best record in the league. Their tens of fans will be have plenty of time to get playoff tickets. No rush at the box office for seats.
