May 3rd (doubleheader)

HotN:
Koi split with the Blues
G1 - the Blues get HR from Suarez and Culberson in the 8th to take a 4-2 lead, but their bullpen couldn't hold it. Koi score in the 8th and 9th before getting a walkoff HR from Santana to win 5-4
G2 - Strasburg only allows 1 ER (not a HR, in case you were wondering about that GIG question) over 6 frames and a Bregman 3-run HR in the 9th puts the game out of reach. Blues win 6-1

(dis)Honorable Mention:
Earlier in the year I noted some putrid batting lines. Generally we consider the Mendoza line the cutoff for poor hitting. I don't know if we have a classification for batting under .100?

Roberto Perez (Brewers) - .082/.135/.112 (8-98, 3 EBH, 6 walks, 48 K's)
Alex Avila (Bums) - .039/.155/.069 (4-102, 1 EBH at least it was a HR, 13 walks, 64 K's)

I feel there could be a GIG question in our future regarding these two "sluggers"
