A pair of 1-0 games tonight...

First off, Kershaw vs Nola. Kershaw (having again demanded a trade) was really good tonight. 8 innings, 5 hits, 0 walks, 9 K's. It's just that Nola was a little bit better. 9 innings, 3 hits, 3 walks, 10 K's. Most importantly for the Nola and the Miners 0 runs. The Miners plated a run in the bottom of the 5th with a single, double, and a sac fly for the only run of the night as the Miners beat the Sweets 1-0.

Honorable Mention:
Keuchel was pretty good for the Cuttys - 6+ innings, 5 hits, 0 walks. But he allowed a run in the 5th and that was all that Lopez needed for the Bums. Lopez narrowly missed a no-no allowing only 1 hit (and 8th inning single) as the Bums beat the Cutty's 1-0.
