Since the Boos have taken over 1st place in the Scully it warms my heart to see the Rum Runners beat them down 7-0. Snell only pitched 4 innings for the Runners, but it was effective only allowing 1 hit before turning it over to his bullpen. But this game was a lot closer than the final score as it was 1-0 heading into the 7th.

Honorable Mention:
Madmen lose 2-1 to the Rattlers, but the key takeaway is the fact they were involved in another 1 run game. What is going on??? The Madmen are currently sitting at the bottom of the standings, but they are 22-31 in 1 run games. If they flip even half of those losses to wins they would have a much more respectable record, which lets me know they probably have been a bit unlucky this season or at a minimum not nearly as bad as their record would otherwise indicate.

Honorable Mention #2:
Robots win 8-5 over the Devils in 13 innings. Robots win on a walkoff 3-run HR by Profar. The Devils watched the Robots boot the ball around (4 Robot errors) and left 17 runners on base. That's a lot of wasted opportunities as their playoff chances are sliding.
