Landlubbers at Cache Hogs
deGrom vs Scherzer - all you need to say.
deGrom = 8 innings, 5 hits, 3 runs, 0 walks, (only) 3 K's
Scherzer = 8+ innings, 5 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks, 16 K's

One out from a complete game, Scherzer walked a pinch hitter. So with the tying run on 1st and the winning run at the plate the Cache Hogs finally made the call to the bullpen after 129 pitches. Newcomb induced a pop-up for the save as the Cache Hogs stay alive. Can't really fault deGrom or the Landlubbers defense. It's just that 2 of the 5 hits deGrom allowed were Trout home runs.

Wild one.
Suarez and Stanton each had 5 RBI (Suarez had 2 HR though, Stanton only 1 but it was important) as this game was back and forth. Eventually the game goes into extra innings, but each team scored in the 10th so we went into the 11th. That's where Stanton hit a walkoff 3-run HR as the Koi stay alive with the 12-9 win. The Boos might have won, but they left 11 runners on base.

These extra inning games provide some of the best reasons I'd love to consider a rule that all playoff games have to be done H2H. Or at least some of them. I realize we'd have to enforce H2H to be played at least one time during the regular season to ensure that all GMs know how to do it.

And maybe someone can remind me: What are some of the reasons you might have for NOT playing games H2H?
