Blues Arb

The Blues award an extra $3M to Eugenio Suarez, boosting his 2020 salary to $5.5M
The Blues award a new $1.5M contract to Ross Stripling in his 4th year.
The Blues award a new $500K contract to Chris Devenski in his 4th year.

The Blues decline to offer arbitration to Dellin Betances, shaving his $2.5M contract and releasing him to Free Agency.  Do I need to post this as a waiver as well?

The Blues also decline to extend arb offers to the following 4th-year rookies:
Christian Colon
Yasmany Tomas
Adam Liberatore
Kyle - 2008, 2015, 2019 MSB Champion

Kyle,

Devenski would be $1m if offered arbitration.   You still want him?

And no on Betances, I've removed him.

Kyle,

Are you keeping Devenski, since he still has one year left on his rookie contract at $250K?

Yes, but he's tradeable, I suppose.  In fact, since we have the whole off-season to decide on rookies in their 4th year, if I trade him to anyone they can keep the controllable rights.

So David, the "let him go" was me saying I wasn't gonna extend him, but he's still on my team.  Are my above assumptions correct?
