April 16-17 April 17, 2020, 05:39:59 PM Sweep (again) this time on the road with the Rougarou winning their games (7-1, 8-2, and 5-1) against the struggling Robots. That Caray division is looking incredibly competitive this year with 4 teams within striking distance of each other. And though I think the Robots will improve quite a bit on their tough start, I think it's a long way to catching up. Game 2 and 3 of the Miners-Koi series is basically a game of "whose pitching will suck today" with the Miners taking game 2 16-4 and the Koi taking game 3 with a score of 10-3. While Jordan Yamamoto of the Koi was able to last 5.1 innings in game 2 (but give up 10 runs), David Price of the Miners didn't even finish 3 innings in game 3 after giving up 6 runs. Perhaps Coach Johnson just had an itchy trigger figure? To date, the middle of the lineup for the Sweets has been nothing to right home about with their 2 through 5 hitters barely scratching the Mendoza line. Tonight was a lot better for a couple of them with the 1 through 4 hitters going 9 for 19 with all 6 RBIs and 5 runs in their 6-3 win against the Rainiers. Quote Selected
