May 20 - 21

What a night for the middle of the Koi order - Gary Sanchez and Eric Sogard combine to go 5 for 8 with 1 walk, 2 doubles, 1 home run, and 6 RBIs including the go ahead RBI as the Koi defeat the Devils 9-6.  This win gives the Koi the series.

Dallas Keuchel of the Cutthroats spun up a 9.1 IP gem against the Kraken, but it wasn't enough in extra innings as Nick Castellanos just did his thing - hit doubles - for the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 11th off Liam Hendricks for their 27th win.

Clayton Kershaw also had a good start and gave the Blues relief corps some significant rest tonight - 8 IP with 7 Ks.  And yet it didn't matter as he gave up 9 hits and 3 walks including a hard-hit Nate Lowe home run into right center in the bottom of the 5th to score two.  Kudos also go out to Walker Buehler who exceeded Kershaw in many ways as he kept the mighty Blues offense in check - 7.1 IP and only 1 hit.

Ordinarily, one would expect the team with 3 errors and only 6 hits would lose the game to the team with 0 errors and 10 hits.  But things don't always work out the way they seem with Max Scherzer on the mound for the Cache Hogs.  Somehow each time he was in trouble, Scherzer was able to will himself out of the trouble for the 5-3 win against the Dogs.

ACLs up to 11 in a row and 25 of the last 26.  Maybe they'll grow tired of winning?

It would be real nice if the Brewers could stop winning!
