Coy gets his wish on May 22 when the Brewers stop winning for a night in this second battle of the Crews' brothers. This one was a very close 8-7 victory for the Bums who scored 2 runs in the top of the 9th to win. David Dahl got on base 4 of 5 times with a home run and whose single in the ninth made for the tying run.

The mighty have fallen - The Rum Runners take 2 in a row at home from the ACLs. The first Rum Runners victory was a 9-4 win that wasn't even as close as the score suggested as the Bums were actually down 9-2 before the Michael Lorenzen gave up two runs during garbage time in the ninth. In the second win, neither team's pitching was very good. The ACLs got after Cole Hamels immediately with 4 runs in the 1st. But the Rum Runners followed suit against Ryu with 2 in the 3rd, 4 in the 4th, and another run in the 5th to drive Ryu from the game. Both teams kept tacking runs on after that - 6 for the ACLs in the 6th, 2 for the Runners in the 7th and another 3 in the 8th which was all that was needed for the 13-11 win.

Don't look now but the top 3 teams in the Uecker division are as hot as 3 teams can be. We've already discussed the Brewers hot streak (8-2 over the last 10), but the Sweets (7-3) and the Argonauts (8-2) are basically matching each other. The Sweets recent series of wins comes against stiff competition - two series against the Blues and one against the Rattlers - while the Argonauts have just beat up on the Koi with 6 straight wins over two series.
