June 5 - 6

No shut-outs on either day.  Definitely not a first, but it feels like one given how good some of our pitching is.

The ACLs are now down to 5-5 over the last 10 games and are looking mortal.  That said, in the case of the Rattlers victory today, all it took was 11 innings, the use of 7 pitchers, 2 ACLs errors, and 13 ACLs batters left on base.  A win is a win, right?

The Blues win two in a row from the Rainiers.  Just to highlight some of Coach Kyle's frustrations, in the second game, after Familia finished out the 8th inning, the pitching coach did not call for star closer Lugo. Instead he sent Familia back out to the mound for the 9th.  Of course Familia allowed the tying run.  Fortunately for the pitching coach, the Blues were able to win in the bottom of the 11th after 2.1 good IP by Baez and a Goodrum home run to left on the third pitch of the inning.

In addition to both Blues-Rainiers games, the Scully and the Uecker division faced off against each other with the Scully generally doing a bit better:
Koi took both games from the Cutthroats
Miners split with the Argonauts
Dogs splits with the Brewers
Sweets split with the Bums

On the other side of the league, the Harwell generally bested the Caray:

Kraken took both games from the Devils
Landlubbers took both from the Robots
Rattlers split with the ACLs
Rum Runners split with the Cache Hogs
Madmen lost both to the Rougarou
David
Phoenix Miners
